We have systematically toned down much of the jargon that is so pervasive on insurance websites, making the essential information you require to obtain a Property & Casualty license easier to comprehend.
The Property & Casualty Texas adjuster course is a 40 hour course that empowers you with the ability to study and work at your convenience on-line 24/7. TXALA is a web-based learning solution that follows the mandated structure set forth by the Texas Department of Insurance which consists of on-line reading assignments with quizzes, a downloadable 10 hour self study reading assignment, plus an on-line proctored 150 question final exam.
You are given three hours (180 minutes) to take the Final Exam. It consists of 150 multiple choice questions, each with four possible answers. You must score at least 70% to pass. If you fail the Final Exam you will be allowed to take it three more times at no charge. There will be a $20 charge for any subsequent re-takes. Upon successfully completing the exam, you will receive a Completion Certificate sent to you by regular mail with detailed instructions on submitting it to TDI for your Texas Property & Casualty’s License.
