To get started as an Insurance Claims Adjuster, click… Register. To be an Adjuster, you need either the ALL LINES or PROPERTY & CAUSALTY license. AdjusterLicenseOnline and TXALA offer both of these courses, with the TEXAS license. Why is having a Texas license important? Texas literally wrote the book on insurance. It was so comprehensive and so well done, that over 30 other states accept the Texas license via reciprocity. This one license allows you to work claims in over 30 states. Even if you have a license from your home state, you will still want a Texas license. Most successful adjusters have a Texas license.
